This was really my first exposure to anything resembling photojournalism. Reflecting on the morning, what I enjoyed most was the flowing, candid nature of snapping photos of people. Unlike the cheer photography, I had time to change settings and even lenses, and unlike the prom photos last week, I was not trying to pose people and make lighting work. I was free to move about the scenes and capture images that told the story as I saw it happening.
