Tough times don’t last, tough people do.

This competition challenged us. As a family, we had not traveled by car more than maybe 3+ hours away from home before this competition. Going to Atlantic City showed us that the kids are able to travel far better than we expected (took 8+ hours to get there!). Only to get to a very run down hotel, not much in the way of food options, some less than stellar photography on my part, and a less than optimal multi-day performance. This is one that you take the good (kids and travel = awesome), and you leave the rest.
